Linden Competitive Shooting Club

Dear Friends of the Linden Gun Range & Linden Competitive Shooting Club,

To introduce ourselves, we are Christine Zador, 2nd generation owner of the SJRPR Inc. (now doing business as the Linden Gun Range) and Rickey Ingrassia, Match Director of the Linden Competitive Shooting Club.  Thank you, in advance, for your time and consideration in becoming a supporting sponsor of the 2023 Gridiron Arena. Below we have a description of the Gridiron Arena Level II USPSA match.

Gridiron Arena is a 9 stage, USPSA Level 2 match featuring head-to-head division battles, a team competition and a steel shoot-off.  Gridiron Arena has been running since 2014 at various ranges in the Northern and Central California area.  The Linden Gun Range has been host to Gridiron Arena since 2018 and is now the permanent home for the match.

Historically Gridiron has been a Single Stack vs Production event.  In 2022 Gridiron was expanded to include Open, Carry Optics, Limited and PCC divisions.  These additional divisions were very popular with shooters in 2022, seeing the largest turnout in Gridiron history.

The head-to-head division battle pits two evenly matched divisions against one another.  The division battles consist of Production vs Single Stack, Carry Optics vs Limited and Open vs PCC.  The winners of these division battles are crowned the Head-to-head Gridiron Arena Champions.

The team competition aligns with the head-to-head division battles.  There are three team events, Production vs Single Stack, Carry Optics vs Limited and Open vs PCC.  Teams consist of 3 competitors from within the head-to-head division battles.  For example, a team in the Open vs PCC team competition must consist of only Open and/or PCC shooters.  A team in the Carry Optics vs Limited team competition must consist of Carry Optics and/or Limited shooters.  The winning teams have their team name and shooter names engraved on the Gridiron Arena Team trophies that are on display at the Linden Gun Range pro shop throughout the year.

Finally we cap off the Gridiron Arena with a steel shoot-off.  The top shooters in the match go head-to-head for bragging rights.  This event is always a big hit with all the participants.

The details concerning this year’s sponsorship levels are attached.  We are looking forward to great success at this year’s 7th Annual Gridiron Arena hosted for the fifth time at the Linden Gun Range.
